On November 4th, 2008, the USA voted for their new President who would be serving from 2008 until 2012. Obama earned 53% of the popular vote, which is very rare for a candidate to get over 50%. He also won 28 states + DC and 349 Electoral Votes. McCain on the other hand earned 46% of the popular vote, won 21 states and got 163 Electoral Votes. Seeing these numbers against each other it is easy to see that Obama has won the Presidential Campaign. Now we have to wait until December to see the actual results of this long process.

I think that Barrack Obama will be a excellent president for the United States. I also think that Joe Biden will be a excellent Vice President for the United States. I am so glad that I am able to be alive to see the first african-american president. Our generation is very lucky to live during a historical point in time.

I think that Obama being elected is going to be a big change in the U.S. Also him being president is history. I think If McCAin was our new president he would have been just like Bush.
