Electoral College:
This is the electors from each state who decide the President and Vice President of the United States. Since 1964 there are a total of 538 electoral votes; each elector votes for whomever is favored in their state. The Electoral College decides who is President and Vice President, not the popular vote.Do you think we should keep the Electoral College?

I think the Electoral College System should be eliminated. Because this system is very unfair for the people of the state. Because the popular vote could be for one candidate and the electoral votes for that state could be for a totally different candidate.

I think that the electoral college should be abollished. I think that if the electoral college was abollished we the people wouldn't have to worry about the electoral college voting in a president that the majority of the US doesn't like. This happened in the 2000 presidential election when Al Gore won the popular vote against George W. Bush but Bush won because he won the electoral college. Another reason we should abollish the electoral collge is because the large states with the same population as a small state don't get as many electoral votes. This doesnt make each vote equal and it destroys the principle of one person, one vote. My third and final reason we should eliminate the electoral college is because of faithless electors that could cause a candidate who won the popular vote to not win the electoral college. This is why we should abollish the electoral college.

I think that they should remove the electoral college votes. I think this because the electoral votes are really high and I think that only the citzens of the USA should vote because each vote counts as 1.

I think the Electoral College should be removed because at best, it is a flawed system. The people should be the ones who decide who the president is. The electoral college is why we had Bush in office instead of Gore and look what happened! We need to get rid of this system because it is old and the PEOPLE should decide, not people representing the people.

I think that the electoral college should be eliminated because in the constitution it says power to the people and the electoral college is taking away some of that power that they get during a presidential election. It should be gone because the electoral college cold totally change the popular vote.

The electoral college system should be disabled. I think this because it gives people that can't vote give them another reason as to what they can't do, and that is unfair. (BB)
i think that the electoral college should most def be removed because its supposed to be our vote not their and they always screw it up for us.
