
3 Branches of Government:
Legislative: This it Article I of the constitution and it gives Congress the power to make laws. Congress is made up of two parts; the House of Representatives and the Senate. It also has other agencies that give Congress support services.
Executive:  
The President is the head of this branch and he gets help from the Vice President, Cabinet members and other agencies. This branch makes sure the laws of the United States are obeyed.
Judicial: 
This is Article III of the Constitution and it's the highest court in the land; the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court decides arguments about what the laws mean and makes sure they follow the Constitution.

I agree If only the electorial votes count why do we vote
^^^ We vote because most electoral votes have to be based on the popular vote in that state.
